Are you tired of facing the "what's for dinner?" dilemma?
Eating well-balanced, freshly prepared, delicious meals takes energy and time. But at the end of the day, the last thing you want to do is cook dinner. So you eat for convenience rather than for nutrition or taste - fast food, frozen dinners, and pasta, pasta, pasta. You know you want to eat better, but who has time to chop vegetables all day long?
I do, and I love it!
A home meal delivery service eliminates the need for compromise - you can eat well and have free time.
I treat my clients to wonderful, hassle-free meals. Mouthwatering entrees, side dishes, and special treats all come packed carefully (complete with simple heating instructions) and delivered right to your door. It's less expensive than having a private chef come to your house, but you don't have to sacrifice quality or the personal touch. There is no commitment necessary, so you can feel comfortable getting a delivery with no obligation.

This page has a lot of information - here we go!
We get all of our lettuce from Kira of Evolutionary Organics farm. She actually uses that cute vintage tractor! And Jalopy the dog is even cuter than this picture shows - if that's possible.
how the service works:
1. To set up an account, email Lagusta or call (845 255 8VEG) with the following information:
-Which plan you'd like (see below).
-If you'd like any à la carte items (see below).
-Your name, address and cross streets, and phone number.
-If you have any food allergies, or dislike any foods.
2. Meals are delivered on Tuesday morning and early afternoons. We can deliver to your home, if someone will be there to put the delivery in the refrigerator, or to your office, if you have a refrigerator. The meals are delivered a cooler bag, which can hold the food for two hours without refrigeration. At the time of delivery, payment is accepted by check (made out to Lagusta's Luscious) or cash.
3. You enjoy the meals for lunches, dinners, and snacks. The meals come with a menu sheet that has reheating instructions, ingredients, and whether or not to eat one meal before another. It also lists the meals for next week. To view a sample menu sheet in .pdf form, click here. When you’re finished with the meals, simply rinse the reusable containers and put them back in the cooler bag.
4. The Friday after your first delivery, we will call you to see how you liked everything and to see if you want to set up a standing order, so you don’t have to call every week to place your order. A standing order is not necessary, but if you do have one please make sure you call by Saturday if you ever want to cancel your order for the week. If you want to get the delivery every once in a while and/or do not want the same plan every week, simply call or email us the Saturday before to let us know what plan you want to order for the week, and whether or not you want a soup and/or dessert.
5. When we bring the next delivery we will pick up last week’s containers to be washed and sterilized.

home delivery options:
Most people use the service for meals during the week, that way they don't have food wasting in the fridge if they decide to go out on the weekends.
Plan A: Each week you'll receive three main meals (4 cups each) and three side dishes (2 cups each). The meals for the week are listed on the upcoming meals page. Plan A is $125 per week. If the delivery makes 8 meals for you, that's about $15 a meal -- less than you'd spend at a restaurant, and much cheaper when you consider that the meals are delivered to your door and prepared with care and high quality organic and local ingredients.
Plan B: Each week you'll receive three main meals (2 cups each) and three side dishes (2 cups each). The meals for the week are listed on the upcoming meals page. Most clients use it for weeknight dinners for one person. Plan B is $90 per week and usually makes 4-5 meals.
Plan C: Plan C includes soup. You will receive three main meals (2 cups each), three sides (1 cup each), and 3 cups of soup (the meals for the week are listed on the upcoming meals page). Plan C is $90 per week and usually makes 4-5 meals.

Customizable options:
In addition to either of the above plans, the following options are available. The à la carte dishes mentioned below are listed on the upcoming meals page:
*Add a quart of from-scratch soup for $15.
*Add 2 big servings of this week's white sugar-free delicious dessert for $15 each.
*Add Kira's Mix: 4 packed cups (5 oz.) of gourmet salad mix: $8. Our farmer pal Kira makes a great organic mesclun mix that we adore. I often snack on it raw, but toward the end of the week I toss it into any cooked meal I'm eating and let it steam for a minute for a burst of fresh green flavor. Most health experts agree that adding dark leafy greens is the number one thing we can do to improve our health. Because Kira's Mix is harvested Monday night and gets to your doorstep Tuesday morning, it's super ultra healthy and delicious. (Rabbits have also been known to like Kira's Mix)
*Add a cup of homemade salad dressing for $6.
*New - salad combo deal! One cup of homemade salad dressing plus 4 packed cups (5 oz.) of Kira's Mix for $12 (save $2).

Also:
* Add a side dish (2-cup portion) for $10.
* Add a main meal (4-cup portion) for $27.
* Sauteed (or steamed) greens (garlicky or plain) and / or brown rice can be substituted for any side dishes as long as you contact me by the Saturday before delivery.
* You can always get double of another item on the menu in place of one you don't want as long as you let me know by Saturday.
* Please note that the minimum order is Plan B or C. All customizable options must be ordered in addition to Plans A, B, or C.
Do the math: it's just about the same as eating out, and you won't find this quality food, tailored to your food preferences, anywhere.
