This box starts out our monthly staff picks box, with $3 from the sale of each box going to an organization of the staff member’s choosing, with an additional option to donate to them on the check-out page.
Kate is first up, choosing the Transgender Law Center as her organization, because of their commitment to building a long-term, national, trans-led movement for liberation through many different initiatives. This includes The Disability Project, led by a multi-racial, cross-class, cross-disability advisory board of transgender and gender nonconforming people, aiming to magnify the leadership, collective power, and visibility of LGBTQ disabled/Deaf/ill constituents, as well as Black Trans Circles, which develops the leadership of Black trans women in the South and Midwest through the creation of healing justice spaces to work through oppression-based trauma and incubate community organizing efforts to address anti-trans murder and violence.

Tahini Meltaway: Our silky salty savory sesame double-layered bonbon that your dreams are made of, even if you don’t know it yet.
Cinnamon Caramel: A Valentine’s special, red-hot reminiscent, full of canela cinnamon and a little bit of ancho chiles.
Peppermint Patty: The beloved favorite: minty fondant covered by a thin shell of dark chocolate with iconic wiggle lines.
White Chocolate Hibiscus Bonbon: Our solid housemade white chocolate with crunchy hibiscus sugar.
Vandana Shiva Bonbon: Cinnamon + stone-ground chocolate + ancho and chipotle chiles + vanilla bean. The first chocolate I fell deeply in love with at LL.
Yuzu Cashew Cream Bonbon: Super tart and citrusy with a dreamy texture.
Cardamom Caramel: I wrote a love poem about these once and maybe that’s all you need to know.
Strawberry Balsamic Caramel: The caramel I developed (which means I made it every day for 10 days until I got it *just* right), a jammy and tart and perfectly sweet.
