One of our love letters to fall: the autumnal version of our year-round pagan bark. A slab of chocolate adorned with edible art, so beautiful it makes your heart swell. Tastes perfect, too. -Kate
“Go to the farm.
Get pumpkins (Long Island Cheese) and apples (Pink Lady).
Take a pumpkin.
Make pumpkin butter with it. Dehydrate it. Powder it. Mix pumpkin butter powder with cocoa butter and sugar in the mélange for 18 hours. Color some leafy chocolate molds with hella pricey all natural colorings to look like leaves. Temper your pumpkin white chocolate and mold it into the leaf molds.
Peel some apples and dry out their skins. Use the apples for Apple Caramels.
Slice some more apples and dry them until just chewy, not crunchy.
Make a pretty design.
All that, for 20 bucks.
This is our fall version of our popular Pagan Bark (the citrus/hibiscus/lavender/raspberry version will be back in the summertime)—our chocolatey manifestation of our unending commitment to treat the things the earth made for us with respect and joy.” – Lagusta
